IBE shared self-consumption schemes supply green, affordable, local electricity at cost price to households and businesses in their surroundings.
The panels are installed on the roofs of public buildings and the electricity generated is shared among more than one consumer.
With no building work and without changing your electricity supplier, if you are within a radius of 2 km of one of our installations, sign up and start saving!
For a small annual fee, it will be as if you had the panels at home, but with no initial investment and no maintenance. We take care of it!
Electricity from the panels is supplied at cost price. The distribution company applies the discount automatically to your bill.
The cost for participating consumers is €100 per 1 kW/year, which means annual savings of €300 for every €100 of the fee.
Payment is by direct debit, with the option of instalments.
Individuals and SMEs that hold electricity supply contracts within 2 km of the installation can take part. For households, the property must be the main residence. Holiday rentals are excluded.
Consumers are selected through an open call lasting one year, extendable up to four. After that, a new call is opened. Places are allocated in order of application, with priority for vulnerable households. 95% of applicants are accepted.
